CALL FOR ENTRIES BANNER SHOW
The Highlands Art League invites all Member Artists to submit entries for a juried Banner Show competition to be held in November of 2026. The Artist with the First Place entry will have their artwork printed on a banner that will hang on the front of the Sebring Art Center’s Clovelly House Gallery/Gift Shop for at least three months at 1971 Lakeview Drive in downtown Sebring.
AWARDS: An independent juror will select work to be exhibited and award winners, and Artists are guaranteed to have at least one entry in the show. A prize pool of $700 has been determined, with possibility of an increase depending on number of entries. Decisions by the juror are final.
OPENING RECEPTION: Awards will be announced and given out at the Opening Reception on Sunday, November 15, 2026 from 3 to 5 and light refreshments will be served.
CALENDAR DATES: Receiving: Saturday, Oct 31, 11–4; and Monday, November 2, 11–4.Reception: Sunday, Nov 15, 3–5 Pickup: Saturday, January 2, 11–4; and Monday, January 4, 11–4.
TO ENTER: Press the PDF button below to download and print the form. Bring this completed form with your check on the receiving dates, or you may complete this form at the time of receiving. Artists must bring and pick up entries at the Sebring Art Center. No shipments will be accepted. Member Artists (18 or older) may enter up to 3 pieces for a $35 non-refundable entry fee. Make checks payable to Highlands Art League, Inc.
RULES: The Highlands Art League, Inc. and the City of Sebring will not be liable for Artwork exhibited at the Sebring Art Center. A 30% commission will be charged on all works sold while on exhibition. Offering Artwork for sale is encouraged but not required to enter. Artist to state retail price on form or state NFS (Not For Sale) on form. By entering the competition, Artist gives the right to the Highlands Art League, Inc. to use images of accepted Artwork in its promotions. Accepted work must remain on exhibition through the end of the show and must be picked up by the stated deadlines. Unaccepted Artwork may be picked up by appointment upon notification to Artist, or at the Opening Reception. Artwork left 30 days after pickup dates will be considered a donation to the Art League.
