Corinne Denton Biography

Corinne Denton Adams minored in pottery in her bachelor's degree from Asbury  University in Wilmore Kentucky.  She is the owner operator of Denton Pottery Studio in Avon Park, Florida.  She has over 10 years experience in pottery and will teaching in all areas of pottery including pinch, coil, slab, wheel and sculpting.


Classes are great for beginners and experienced potters.  Beginners will enjoy having a step-by-step demonstration to guide you in creating your own unique piece of functional or decorative pottery that expresses your individual personality.  This may be a mug, bowl, dish, vase etc.  Each session will begin with a different piece.  After you have made your first piece following guided steps, you will be able to make your choice of additional pieces.

Students are requested to bring the following to the first class:  old dish towel, apron, 15 quart plastic tub with lid

September 3, 10, 17, 24

Saturday 2-4 pm
September 5, 12, 19, 26

Cost:  $125.00 for month.  All supplies and 6 pounds of clay included.
