Class Description:
Explore the fundamentals of figure drawing with instructor Sandy Koi, PhD in this engaging Life Drawing Class designed to strengthen observation, coordination, and artistic confidence. Using principles associated with Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, students will learn to move beyond drawing what they think they see and develop the ability to carefully observe shapes, proportions, negative spaces, values, and relationships. Often working from live models with standing easels, students will use charcoal on large newsprint pads to encourage loose, expressive drawing. The class is for both beginning and experienced artists age 14 and older, and provides valuable practice in seeing, measuring , and drawing. Model fees and all art supplies are included in the tuition.
Tuition: $125.00 for four two-hour classes, one class per week.
Enrollment: Register and pay online prior to starting class. Enrollment is limited to six students with a minimum of three.
October Classes: October 14, 21, 28 and Nov. 4
Class Time: 2:oo - 4:00 pm at Sebring Art Center Building
