She Who Tells a Story: An Exhibit of Florida Women Photographers 2026

The Highlands Art League proudly presents "She Who Tells a Story", a juried exhibition featuring the work of members of the Florida Women Photographers Group.

This compelling exhibition celebrates the power of photographic storytelling through the unique perspectives of women photographers from across Florida.  From intimate moments and emotional narratives to striking landscapes, abstract interpretations, wildlife imagery, and explorations of everyday life, the exhibit reflects the diverse voices and creative visions of contemporary women in photography.

The exhibition showcases both emerging and established artists whose work demonstrates technical excellence, originality, and visual impact.  Visitors will experience photography not simply as documentation, but as a powerful artistic medium capable of evoking memory, emotion, curiosity, humor, and reflection.

Hosted by the Highlands Art League, "She Who Tells a Story" also highlights the organization's continuing commitment to presenting engaging regional exhibitions and fostering connections between artists and the community.

An opening reception and awards presentation will be held on Sunday, September 20th from 3-5 pm.  The public is invited to attend and meet participating artists while enjoying an inspiring collection of photographic artwork from throughout the state of Florida.
