Corinne Denton Biography
Corinne Denton Adams minored in pottery in her bachelor's degree from Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. She is the owner operator of Denton Pottery Studio in Avon Park, Florida. She has over 10 years of experience in pottery and will be teaching in all areas of pottery including pinch, coil, slab, wheel and sculpting. She is excited to join Highlands Art League and bring her creative talent in pottery to the community of Highlands County.
Kim Taylor Biography
Kim Taylor has been creating ceramics since 2005. I learned under professional ceramist Jim Connell in Rick Hill, South Carolina at Winthrop University. Kim has taught a variety of forms to all ages as a k-12 educator including 7 years teaching high school art, ceramics and photography classes. Kim states, "Ceramics and sculpture are my favorite forms of art tow work in! I love the transformation that happens when a plain block of clay or a flat piece of wood or metal becomes something new."
