MUSIC ALIVE (Suggested ages 6-10)

Children will explore the following foundational, basic elements that help to create
music: Basic eory, Technique, Expression, Performance, History, etc.
Instructor: Ashley Campbell • May 31-July 5, every Saturday at 1:00 Ppm

MOVIN’ & GROOVIN’ (Suggested ages 3-5)

In this 45-minute music class, parents & children together will have fun moving
to the beat of the music while utilizing various percussive instruments &
objects, such as: Drums, Maracas, Rhythm Sticks & our very own bodies!

TEEN PHOTOGRAPHY: Storytelling through the Lens for Teens

In the age of social media, self expression and the never-ending selfie it would be safe to
say that we are more than ever dying to tell our own personal story. is 6 week summer
course will examine the way in which we are each telling our stories through photography.
iPhoneography is becoming the medium of choice to capture real, raw, thought provoking
and beautiful moments in the most organic and simple way.

ADULT PHOTOGRAPHY: Intro to Everyday Lifestyle & Portrait Photography

Do you have a “fancy” camera, a story to tell and a desire to move closer to a deeper
understanding of how the two intertwine? is course is about the story we tell and the tools we
use. roughout the six weeks we work to develop skills that will allow you to better understand
your camera in order to better capture your life around you in an open and authentic way.

Watercolor Workshop: Get Inspired, Informed & Encouraged

Love painting but want to broaden your skills by trying a new medium? is watercolor sixweek
workshop will be perfect for you! For the first three weeks, we will work on three 8×10 pieces, a
new one each week. We will explore different techniques and ways to stretch your painting skills.
Instructor: Kristy Harris • June 10-July 15, every Tuesday at 6:00 pm

2014 Creative Kids Camp sponsored by Agero

Highlands Art League will be offering 4 weeks of Art Summer Camps. Each weekwill focus on a different theme and will be filled with multiple art activities. e camps
will provide kids ages 6-12 the opportunity to learn new skills in the creative arts
while advancing their art education focus.

Art Uncorked and Art-No Cork (a class with no wine suitable for those under 21)

If you haven’t tried an Art Uncorked class yet, ask your friends – they’ll tell you what you are missing!
HAL offers this wildly popular concept to non-artists (but artists are welcome also) with our Art
Uncorked series. You’ll complete a project in one evening, led by a professional artist, and enjoy a
fun, laid-back evening of creativity with refreshments offered.
