For the third year, the annual Race to Taste International Wine, Beer & Culinary Tasting Gala will kick off the 12 Hours of Sebring auto racing festivities and help raise funds for art education at the Highlands Art League.  It’s the area’s ‘must-attend’ event of the year!

Join us this year on February 25, 2017 and enjoy wine and culinary tastings from various international countries, as well as domestic and international beer samplings, a dessert bar, cigar bar, auction fundraiser, music, cash bar, live painting, local and regional art, race-inspired fun and a view of Lake Jackson’s gorgeous sunset.

“The Race to the Taste Gala was a fantastic way to start off our race season along with a night of fun and fellowship,” said Sebring Mayor John Shoop.  “The staff and volunteers of the Art League put on this amazing event and our hats are off to them.  The variety of foods from the different countries made this a unique event.  Can’t wait until next year!”

2.  Value community by seeking a sense of pride through Highlands County, rallying around our community’s signature event, the 12 Hours of Sebring Race.
3.  Campaign for funding to continue HAL’s mission and to enhance our programs and activities for Highlands County and the surrounding areas.
4.  Promote community socialization and networking through an entertaining and enlightening environment.  Offering an outlet for both the young adults through the young at heart adults in the community to enjoy an evening out for networking and supporting an important cause within the community, Arts and Culture.
